Cassandra Evens, after ignoring it for months, is diagnosed with mild depression but what no one ever knew was that she was in more need of help than any one could have guessed.
Following her depression, Cassandra suddenly disappears from the small town of Leura, startling everyone. But what no one knows is that during her early stages of depression, Leon, Cassandra's best friend, convinced her to write a journal in an attempt to express her feelings and when Leon finds the journal in a pile amongst Cassandra's things he decides to read it, hoping hell find a clue to where she's gone but what he unravels confuses him even more to the point that he isn't sure he ever really knew Cassandra at all.
