(Y/n) (L/n) is a new diver for an ocean exploration and research team with the task to save an exceedingly rare form of sea life: the World Coral, a bustling and lively cluster of several species of corals found worldwide. Unfortunately, it is slowly beginning to die out due to a strange darkening effect called the necrotizing effect. 

The World Coral is hidden away in a strange new ocean, the Veiled Sea; a submerged world whose topographical features are in a constant, mysterious flux, and is home to many familiar creatures, but as (Y/n) and his/her senior research partner, Daniel, soon come to find out, it is also inhabited by a diversity of brand new species from various families. What they are and why they are here remains a mystery, but with the help of treasures from an ancient people lost to time, they find out the secrets of the ocean's past and learn more about the new creatures... and they may just make a name for themselves.
