After an abused 19-year old girl, Chloe Chestnut, runs away from home, she finds herself at an old house owned by a very strange guy. Bats cover almost all of his house and it's always dark. His skin is ice cold and pale white, probably from the lack of sun as his house is surrounded by nothing but forest. Miles from civilization, Chloe's forced to ask him if she can stay despite how eerie he looks and how uneasy he makes her feel. He has the strangest eyes and he seems almost inhuman. Chloe's read the books and done all the research, and now she's come face to face with the most amazing creature she's ever heard of. A vampire.
