I look at him expectantly. Biting my lip, trying to fight the smile that's slowly making it's way on my lips. He looks back at me, taking my hand in his and giving it a light squeeze. His emerald green eyes brimming with tears. I close my eyes with such happiness burning within me.

"This is it." I thought to myself as chorus of gasps erupted from the crowd. I pry my eyes open almost immediately only to find my husband-to-be running away, probably as far and fast as he can, leaving me and the priest at the altar.
