Naiads are the water spirits of fresh water, there are also other types of water spirits such as Oceanids who are spirits of the sea and Nereids who are also spirits of the sea, but of the Mediterranean Sea.
Assana is your average teenager.........or so she thought but when a Naiad called Lynne comes to find Assana and bring her back to where all the Naiads around that area live encluding her twin sister Cascata who is also a half Naiad, Assana is finding it hard to cope and why had no one ever told her before that she was half Naiad and when she asks Lynne she gives a very vague answer. Assana wants to find out the reason no one is telling her why and why her mother, Binda is not with the Naiads anymore even and though all the humans that knew her thought she was dead.
