From the outsiders perspective Rowena has everything she could ever want. Till one night she declines a strangers offer to go home with him. Upset, the man follows her as she makes her way home. He grabs her from behind and takes what isn't his. After the encounter, she lay broken on the cold cement filled with emotions of pain and vengeance. If she was only an object to men, she would make them her play things. Fueled by anger, Rowena starts seeing things in a much darker light.

I did the one thing I promised her I would never do, no matter what, and now she hates me. She absolutely despises me and she's doing everything in her power to make my life a living hell, even if she hurts herself in the process. Even if it gets her killed.
