Y/n was left on the doorstep of an orphanage, and adopted not even a month later by a young couple that were looking to adopt, they were charmed the moment they laid eyes on him. Y/n was told this by many people in different ways growing up, he had the ability to get along with almost anyone, could talk his way out of almost anything, but he also knew not to abuse it, because that's not what a hero would do.

Y/n was also gifted with many other things growing up, but he always had the nagging feeling like he was never at home, never truly where he belonged. By the time Y/n is 12 years old, he thinks he finally has a grasp on things...until he sees what he thought was a teacher turn into some sort of Man bat rip off...

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan.
