In the kingdom of Caen, Briallen Isobel Amythyst finds herself taken to the Court of Judgement after she illegally tried to cross the border from the Mortal world into the Immortal realm. She is taken to be judged by the immortal prince of the realm, who soon finds a liking in her. In the COJ, her past resurfaces and Briallen finds herself caught in the middle of a full out war between the three realms. While she has the power to choose which side she is on, can she? Or will her past choose it for her?
