Suffering from the guilt of murdering his enemy Angstrom, Mark Grayson returns to Earth having been saved by the future Guardians of the Globe. He is completely lost in his life, having quit college and neglected his feeling towards his friend and colleague, Eve. The looming threat of Viltrum still presides over Earth, his oppressors telling him he needed to take over or everyone will die. He knew if they were to be defeated he would be the only one with the strength to pull it off.
Little did he know that in addition to the threats the Viltrumites made against him, he and Eve would be fighting a villain stronger than his father and smarter than Angstrom.
