As the summer comes to a close Will has to say goodbye to his friends and family (godly side of the family), with promises to visit every other weekend, they leave. And once again Will is left at camp for the winter, but this time he has more than just Austin and Kayla who are going to stay with him, he has Nico di Angelo too. But as the seasons change and the leaves turn from green to brown and as the frost seems to cover the world in white, Will remembers what happened years ago. He had allowed his infatuation with Percy to rule his life, his decisions, for far to many years. His wings had grown heavy, and he'd drowned. Icarus had made a mistake. He strayed too far, entranced by the kindness of the light. The dark wouldn't be as welcoming, ushering you in with no hesitancy and crossed arms. That didn't work out so well for Icarus. So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further. Three days in the infirmary. That's many how full days Nico will have with Will. They both want a connection between each other, but are too nervous. One of them might be planning to speak up. But everything about them is different. They are different from each other, and everybody else. What will happen in those three days? What will happen after those three days? What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will?
