Tale of the Hunters

Safire didn't believe that her father had a secret life. She didn't believe in the myths that he wrote about in his journal. But when she is accused of murder and sentenced to death, she's forced to leave her old life behind and flee her home with a stranger. Thought to be executed by everyone she once knew, Safire joins the ranks of the hunters. She takes up the role of her late father, and has to work with Jace, a man she can barely trust. Being trained by a werewolf leader, hunting vampires and unravelling the mysteries of an old religion all seem like a fairytale to Safire. But it's a grim fairytale, one dominated by ancient blood fueds, secret love, and the threat of an apocalypse.
