But when she is accused of murder and sentenced to death, she's forced to leave her old life behind and flee her home with a stranger. Thought to be executed by everyone she once knew, Safire joins the ranks of the hunters. She takes up the role of her late father, and has to work with Jace, a man she can barely trust.
