Cancer. Its a horrible word, with horrible associations. When you hear it, all you can think about is sickness or death. A loved one having it is awful, having it is worse. So there I sat in the plain, drab doctors surgery, on a bright and sunny day in June, my whole life ahead of me, when I was told that life was now only for around a month longer. 
"It hadn't really sunk in yet that I was probably- no I WAS going to die. 
"Well unfortunately that would limit your time to about a week..." Dr Ashley said with pity in her eyes. 
Right then and there I promised to do everything on my bucket liat that I could.
