"The wind stirs the gravel from the ground, twisting and swirling into a funnel cloud of flying pebbles. Nearby I can hear the constant churn of the ocean waves to sharp violent waves as they hit the sandy shoreline. My hand twitches for my wand in my pocket. Jewelia has already taken out hers and her eyes are narrowed.
'What is it? What's happening?' I ask her, hoping that she'll have a straight-forward answer. The rocks under my feet start to shift and my teeth start to chatter from the suddenly freezing breeze.
