Destiny is girl who has been through hell and back and she has been broken down to the point of no return or so she thinks. Being from a broken family and only knowing the abuse of her boyfriend Damion of 6 years she knows nothing but pain. When she finally walks away and tries to find her own way she immediately realizes she has nothing.

Fernando is guy who also comes from a dark place of misery and pain. Being in and out of homes and shelters he knew nothing but misery. However he found love from a man known as his mentor the closest thing he has to a father. He went from having nothing to having everything he could want.

When Fernando sees Destiny he instantly recognizes her as girl who is not to be messed with. However when he finds she is no longer with her boyfriend Damion he sees the opportunity to help this girl that he sees as unhappy and in need of love. However with her past will he be able to fix the wounds of her broken state, will she be willing to let in another man.
