Three demigods (Bea, Heidi, and Ren) embark on a mission to retrieve Athena's stolen Aegis.
The shield was stolen by a demigod manipulated by Nemesis, the goddess of revenge and balance. Nemesis seeks to restore balance amongst the gods, believing they've become too powerful and have upset the balance. The trio must track down the demigod, retrieve the Aegis, and return it to Olympus. They also have to navigate both mental and physical challenges, and they have to deal with the crushing realization that one of them might not make it home. Will they retrieve the Aegis, or will they fail the quest and mess the balance up more than even Nemesis intended?
