Though, clearly worlds apart, Halle slowly finds herself pursuing Rosalie.

Halle. An orphan, whom one day, is taken in by a generous priestess. But for what purpose? To serve a dying mother's wish to see to it that her royal daughter isn't left alone. As a young child, Halle never understood the meaning behind her mother's request until meeting Rosalie Windsor.

A royal whose influence only extended to that in name. With a meager claim to the throne, she's surrounded by enemies, gossip and deceit within society. If those she meets don't wish to use her, they regard her as a means to an end.

But despite that, as her mother had wished, her daughter finds someone in which she can trust in Halle and the pair form an odd friendship between themselves.
