Aridia has always considered herself an outsider for her entire 18 years of living. Not a model student, never received straight A's , or even a most improved award. Being average is, well, average. She has the hardest time mostly at school, and doesn't even fit in with the unpopular kids. Constantly being hit on from the jocks as a joke doesn't do her any better. She even doesn't feel at home with her adoptive parents and their son. Her and the small group of friends she has, she holds dear to herself besides her prized diary. That diary was only thing she was left with when her parents disappeared. After discovering a hidden page within the diary she becomes highly curious about her past, and her birth parents. Aridia takes it upon herself to find out about herself. Not caring who she encounters, or what she encounters. After all, she is a witch.
