Dan Michaels is a normal 8th grader who goes out with some friends late at night. When they spot a light in the sky, they run away, but Dan gets caught in the bushes and while his friends tried to free him. The light gets closer, and closer until it crashes down and explodes near by Dan, Harper, and James. The blast was so intense that the kids blacked out and when they woke up, they felt something strang, they felt... changed.
