They say he was a quiet man- someone who never spoke much in a crowd, who never laughed out loud, not even at a clown. But that never made sense to Sheir. Because the man she knew never knew how to shut up. Zien Silas Abarico was always the loudest when she was in the room... and the quietest when she wasn't. He memorized every part of her by heart, uttering her name, Sheir Rachel Dolina, as if it were the most delicate crystal- too fragile for anyone to touch, not even him. Their friendship was perfectly imperfect. He was whole; she was empty. She liked him. He didn't- or at least, that's what she chose to believe. But still, they clicked. He filled every broken part of her, sealed all the cracks, soothed the bruises she hid so well- only for him to break them apart again, worse than they were before. Now, she can't even pick up the pieces he made because the cut stings so bad it hurt. So how can they go back to the friendship they made after all the pain they caused? How can they look in each other's eyes and pretend like the years they spend was just a fleeting memory? Can things really go back to the way they were? Or will they have to accept that not all friendships are meant to last... And not all love is meant to be known? Because some stories are just meant to be left- Unsaid. And unheard. She woke up in a hospital bed, disoriented and aching, only to be hit with the devastating news-she had been in a terrible accident... and lost the last five years of her memory. The faces around her felt unfamiliar, except for two: her father... and Kai, the man her heart still called home. But reality didn't match her memories. Because everyone insisted she wasn't with Kai anymore. In fact, she was engaged-to someone else. A calm, steady man named Evan, who stayed by her side through the accident... and after. He claimed to love her. And he was patient-painfully patient-even offering to help her track down Kai, the man she swore was still her forever. As she tried to piece her life back together, torn between the ghost of her past and the man claiming her future, she began to uncover a truth deeper-and darker-than she ever expiected. Because finding Kai again wasn't the miracle she thought it would be. And remembering who she once was... might destroy who she's become.
