The 100th annual Hunger Games is finally here and this time it's even worse, two victors, one male and one female are too be reaped as well as a girl and boy to fight to the death. Forty Eight go in, only one comes out.
When 14 year old Arabella is reaped for the 100th annual Hunger Games she is terrified. Though charming, beautiful and skilled with a bow and arrow, she knows she has no chance. Others have been trained for years for this while in District 12 it's thought of as a ticket straight to heaven. She has to make it, the lives of her starved family depend on it.

Katniss agrees to the request, knowing all too well the pain of losing loved ones in the games. As the games progress, Grace realizes that she has become a symbol of hope for the people, much like Katniss did in the previous games. She uses her popularity and charm to win the support of other tributes and the Capitol audience. Meanwhile, Katniss and other rebels are working behind the scenes to support Grace and use her as a symbol to rally more people to their cause. They know that the Capitol will do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the 74th games, where a tribute from District 12 emerged victorious. As the games come to a close, Grace finds herself facing off against another tribute from District 12, a tribute who has been trained specifically to take her down. It's a tense and brutal battle, but in the end, Grace manages to emerge victorious, becoming the first tribute from District 12 to win the Hunger Games twice. However, the victory is bittersweet, as Grace is haunted by the deaths of her father and James Anderson, the father of her daughter, and she knows that the Capitol will not take her defiance lightly. With the help of Katniss and other rebels, Grace begins to plan her next moves, knowing that the fate of her daughter and the entire district is at stake.
