Deathly Love

Sanemi Shinazugawa, a police officer, is dispatched to investigate a report from someone who believes they've found a body in the woods. Upon arrival, Sanemi's worst fears are confirmed as he discovers a corpse. He calls it in, and the body is taken away for further examination. Later, he learns the victim is a John Doe-unidentified with no known ties. Intrigued and unsettled, Sanemi visits the morgue to take another look. While there, he suddenly feels a chill in the air and hears a faint whisper. Dismissing it as his imagination, he shakes it off, sighs, and leaves.

Back at the office, he finishes up his paperwork before heading home, cracking open a beer to unwind on his couch. But his attempt at relaxation is quickly disrupted as strange occurrences begin happening around him. He soon discovers the unsettling truth: the ghost of the body he found earlier that week has followed him home. Initially, Sanemi is terrified and bombards the ghost with questions, but the spirit remains distant, filled with anger and confusion over the circumstances of his death. Sanemi vows to help uncover the truth behind the ghost's murder in hopes of freeing him. The ghost reluctantly agrees, and as they work together, their bond deepens, and feelings for one another begin to grow.
