Clara Roberts is just a child when she sees the wolf for the first time.
After the brutal wolf attack she miraculously survived, the whole town seems amazed, and slightly frightened, by her. She begins to see the wolf everywhere as she grows. One day, Clara sees a new girl in town that she seems inexplicably drawn to. As the mysterious new Lucy draws Clara into her world, Clara finds strength inside herself, peace with the dark secrets Lucy is hiding, and what it truly means to be a monster.
