Brooke Matthews is a 26 year old who seemed to have her life in order. A very hard worker, has her college degree, a wonderful boyfriend, a job, an apartment and a beautiful little girl all in the span of just a few years. 

Everything seemed to be going well and Brooke didn't have too many worries about the stability in her life. Not until she and her boyfriend are granted with a slightly unexpected surprise. But things have been unraveling quickly before then, and even more so now that Brooke is pregnant. She might not be prepared for what's in store for her at all.

Alexander Turner, age 29, and his mates are taking a break from their band known as the Arctic Monkeys. It's the post AM era and as Matt, Nick and Jamie start settling down and starting their families, Alex is still living it up in the bachelor life and enjoy some stardom. He's at the parties, bars, social events, dates, you name it. 

However, he's moved over to live in America for awhile, looking for some new scenes and places to party and relax a little with some mates. But as much as Alex enjoys what his fame as brought him, he still feels something missing inside. Something he's been longing for since he was younger, but has been drowned out by the band's success. Alex wanted the best of both worlds, but it hasn't been working in his favor.


Brooke and Alex become lone rangers riding through what seems like a wide and endless open space that leads nowhere and is fraught with disaster. But what happens in one hectic night might be the two's silver lining, just when things are getting complicated. Hopefully, it will save things from totally spiraling out of control.
