"I don't think you're leaving, Maisie. I know I mean something to you." I could practically smell the desperation radiating off him as I backed against the cold wall in his room. With every step he took towards me I could feel my self control depleting. His smell was so intoxicating and mind blowing I could feel my knees weakening and my body longing for his touch. I hated that I wanted him so such, and that's what scared me the most.
"I want to hear you say it." His eyes were starting to darken as he got closer to me.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I squeaked. I wanted my voice to sound strong but it came out only as a whisper. By now I felt as though the wall would break behind me because of how hard my back was pushing into it. My voice only seemed to encourage him and a smirk found his face as he put both of his hands on either side of my head. "Oh, I think you do know exactly what I want to hear."
I could only stare into his sea blue eyes and said his name "Kane."
