Okay everyone, here is my entry for round 3 of the Fantasy Smackdown. The theme for this round was dying earth, we had to incorporate 4 out of 8 pictured and make them integral to the story (the 4 i chose are on the slideshow on the right) and we also had to pick from a selection of songs. Obviously I chose The End Of The World As We Know It by REM.

I should also mention that I have decided to attempt to use the same world through out the smackdown so if you want the full story (or at least all there is so far) you may also want to read Ashiernya and The Magicians Sorrow .

I loved writing this story it moved me and all I could do was hold on for the ride, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
