It is a story that a girl named Merrissa has the worst birthday ever in the record of birthdays. Merrissa is a 12 year old 8th grader who has two younger siblings that are 7 and 10 and an older sister that is 15. Being 12 years as an 8th grader Merrissa is the youngest of all her grade. This poor girl is turning unlucky number 13 and she has big hopes for her big day, but little did she know she was going to have the worst day of her life. This story haves alarm clocks, annoying siblings, bad hair, tests, crying, laughing, excitement, action, and adventure. Her best friend Derick comes to help her find out how to have the best birthday ever, but they don't know what's coming to them.
