It's been nearly 1,500 years since Arthur Pendragon died in the battle of Camlann. 1,500 years went by since Merlin lost the most important person in his life at the shores of the Lake of Avalon. Being the loyal manservant he is, he's been waiting for all this time for his king to rise, never without a doubt that it would happen.
