Elara Stark was the only daughter of Rickon Stark and Gillian Glover, Cregan Stark's younger sister. When called to Kings Landing, Rickon accepted the proposal of betrothal of his daughter with Princess Rhaenyra's eldest son, Jacaerys Velaryon. Despite being bound by duty, the young children quickly found themselves drawn towards each other, their friendship developing to something more special during the years. Married by duty, but, most importantly, by love. And they would live happily ever after, right. Right?... Shortly after their wedding, they found themselves in the middle of the Dance of the Dragons, a war that will only lead them to misery, heartbreak and catastrophe. This story is not entirely book or show accurate, I am taking some creative liberties. For example, in this story, Rhaenyra never moved to Dragonstone with her family and remained in the Red Keep. A mysterious woman enthralls Aemond and Daemon. In her, they each find what they are looking for. She takes each of them to the precipice of their ego through a journey of self-exploration and passion. --- This fan fiction depicts Daemon and Aemond in a big brother/younger brother dynamic. They engage in a mutual love triangle with an ethereal woman that offers them both affection, gratification, and counsel. Despite political and personal differences, Aemond and Daemon find themselves forever connected by their love and, at times, obsession of her. This story exists in an "alternate timeline" where Viserys has not named Rhaenyra (or anyone, for that matter) as his heir. This is a slow-ish burn (trust the process!) that is a bit ~spicy~ but plot focused (to say--spice isn't the whole point of the story).
