Young adults Aion and Persephone are attempting to live their lives to the fullest after high school. Being good friends, the two decide to meet one weekend when an unprecedented disaster suddenly strikes the world. Together, the two must survive and attempt to move on with their lives finding friends, enemies, joy, and heartbreak along the way as they navigate their new dystopian world.

The Future We Chose is a scholarly project between three friends that blossomed into a full-blown project. With inspirations from the likes of Greek Mythology, Solo Leveling, and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, The Future We Chose is the multi-year-spanning passion project of a trio of high-schoolers.
