Before she could, he disappeared, and her fate veered, a new thread materializing in its fabric. 

Zjartem's cursed and tragic existence left him distant and unfeeling. He bore a turmoil inside him, questioning his very being. Grasping onto the last string of certainty, he held onto his position of clan head with a grip.Tethering on the verge of destruction, he met her. A peculiar girl that stirred unknown feelings in him. Before he could untangle his heart, the lull in his mind ended, bringing back memories that left him on edge. Forcing him to leave her side. Unknown to him, his purpose had already shifted, forging a new path in his destiny.
