In a quiet town surrounded by lush mountains, Zariah "Zee" Torres and her close-knit group of friends embark on what should be a peaceful break from their chaotic school lives. A day of fun at the falls and a campfire at the top of a mountain turns into something they could never have imagined. When an explosion rips through the sky, the impact leaves them unconscious and sends shockwaves through their lives.
When they awaken, they find themselves back in their rooms, seemingly unharmed. But something is wrong. An invisible force stirs inside them-powers that shouldn't exist. As they grapple with their new abilities, they discover they are far from ordinary. The explosion was no accident, and the world they once knew is about to change forever.
