I LOOKED OUT THROUGH THE CRACKS
of the crawl space. Goeth was coming closer, all shining black 
leather boots and crisp black uniform. One of his dogs lifted 
it's ears and looked right at me.
I pulled back, away from the wall. "We're trapped. We have to 
get out of here." I was almost choking on my own fear.
"And go where?" Thomas hissed. "If we leave, they'll find us
in the barrack!"
"I don't care. I can't be caught here."
I pushed my way up and out of the crawl space. I gasped, filling 
my lungs. I had to move quickly. My heart was thumping,
but it made me feel alive, and feeling alive made me want to

I'm way too tired for this. My bones cracked as I ran breathlessly. I ran and ran for my life. I turned and jumped upon heavy thick roofs. Each time my shoes collided with the grey tiles, they shook under my force. "Where am I?" I sucked in air harshly. I flashed my eyes around and nod. A hospital. I crept through a secured roof passage as I saw silent blurs fade into appearance. Slowly. they crept. Quietly they were gaining. I turned my head as I twisted and maneuvered past various of lengthy deep hall ways. More than three dozens E.L.V.E.S glided in my direction. I cursed under my breath as my heart sped so fast I could hear it's pain. They were too close, d*mn it! Instantly, footsteps came speeding down the halls like tapping raindrops in unison. They caught up. Everyone froze.

She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.

We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out. A/N: WARNING, there is profanity, gory scenes and mild sexual content throughout the book. For all you grammar nazi's. This is by no means a final draft. There are many errors and I'll get to them. I kept my hand there and suddenly I felt a wetness on my hand. A high pitched scream left my lips as I backed up and fell. There was a wolf the size of a car in front of me. It was a dark brown. His head hung low and he put his large paws at my feet. His front body crouched down so we were at eye level. My heart raced and my stomach dropped to the ground. My chest raised and lowered at a fast pace and I wanted to scream again. "D-Damien?" I asked softly after I looked into those deep blue, almost black eyes. He lowered his head even more and put it on my knees.

"You stupid idiot what have you done" "I am NOT going with him" I cried, pulling my hands to me, screaming, and just maybe trying to burn my wrist down to be free and run away. "Stupid bi*tch, get up" Mr. Ashford kicked me and grabbed me by my hair. "Please don't hit my kitsune, Arthur, I want her... fresh." Reynolds came to the back of the store too and our eyes locked. Well, at least for a second before I tried jumping on him to rip his head off; only if Ashford wasn't holding me by hair and a guard by the chains. Reynolds laughed and came closer. "It's like you know me" "Oh, I know you" I spat on his face and he wiped it with almost no emotion. Only his fangs betrayed how annoyed he got and the image stopped me from moving altogether.

Keith tried contacting me through our comms. "Rose? Where are you?" He asked. "Trying to catch a runaway. Why? What's wrong?" I say as I sneak behind the escapee. "We're about to head out on the carrier planes, you're missing, but I think I know where you are now, and I just realized you've basically killed all of our evidence." He said with sarcasm in his voice. I look at the man I'm standing over. Pressing the button on the comm to speak I say, "You ruin my fun." With sarcasm as I knock him out. Keith responds with a chuckle and leaves static in my ear. I knock the escapee out, hoist him over my shoulder, and start making my way back to the carrier planes. As I approach the planes, Keith is waiting for me with a smirk on his face. "You always know how to make an entrance, Rose," he says as he helps me load the unconscious man onto the plane. Once we're in the air, Keith scolds me about the evidence. I pin him up against the wall and say in a low growl, "Are you forgetting who's Alpha?" He smirks and nips my nose.

"Repeat what you just said to me Madison," he evilly mutters his eyes locked with mine. "Leo please," I mumble. "You will learn to obey me," he venomously says his hot breathe hitting my flesh near my ear. Suddenly, his large hand grips my neck tightly chocking me. Both of my hands clutches onto his hand trying to free myself from his grip. "P-pl," I struggle to say while trying to breathe. I can feel the life in me slowly slipping away. My vision starting to blur in and out of focus. Leo suddenly lets go of my neck and I helplessly drop to the floor gasping for air like a fish gasps for water. I can feel tears sliding down my cheeks as I realize my life could have ended in the hands of this handsome murderer. "Recognize who you are speaking to. No one, I mean no one ever disrespects Leo Castillo, leader of The Red Eagles!", he firmly says his cold eyes glaring down at me. I stay silent completely mute. My body trembling from pure fear scared to say anything that might upset him again. Leo turns his heel walking out of the room locking it from the outside leaving me in shock of what just happened.
