Soundwave left Earth with the minicons and his brother and, apparently, is not going to return, he was replaced by Megatron, whom Bumblebee has even less confidence in than when he started working with the signalman. Despite this, Optimus seems to want to see the former enemy as his ally. Therefore, the yellow bot will have to accept the presence of his killer in his life. However, as it soon turns out, the Autobots will face a much more dangerous threat than escaped criminals....

Notes:
The second season of my fanfiction "Dubious Ally". Therefore, in order to understand the context of what is happening, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the first season. Well, if you already know the plot, then I wish you a pleasant reading!

It's been a year since the events of Enslavement happened and the Decepticons haven't been seen since, almost like they've disappeared. Optimus is not as optimistic as the rest. But things are going well for the Autobots. They have another base to add to their aid and a small army of new Autobots. But their peace is cut short when an old flame beckons Optimus and a few key players to Cybertron. Meanwhile Fearswoop and Terradive try to adapt to their new lives as ghosts in their long journey of redemption. And just when you thought it was safe Megatron's ultimate plan comes into place... a full fledged invasion of Earth with new powerful Decepticons to aid him. When Starscream once again tries to usurp Megatron, it's finally the last straw as he becomes exiled and handicapped from the Decepticons, but that just woke a sleeping giant from inside the Seeker. Now Starscream wages a vengeful one-man war between the Autobots and Decepticons. His plan involves the Eradicons, a new sub faction of Decepticons and the most powerful combiner team to date. Led by the obsessive Motormaster, who has only one goal in life: To kill Optimus to prove he is the king of the road. Now Earth is a complete war zone as it becomes a four-way struggle for control between the Autobots and the humans, Decepticons, Insecticons, and Starscream. My first fanfic I wrote back in highschool. A celebration of all Transformers universes from G1 all the way to RID 2015. Characters from different iterations all exist together in this patchwork of Cybertronian life. For example Optimus is based off of his movie design and Megatron on his Prime design. This is the first story of a 20 story saga. So here's the premise. I'll be posting the rest of this at a later time so for now here's the premise. A war on a world far from our own lands in our backyard. Humanity must team up with Optimus Prime and his small team of Autobots against Megatron and his legion of Decepticons. Outnumbered, outmatched, and low on morale in a place very strange to them, the Autobots and humans must work together, or face the loss of both their worlds. Cast list will be posted some time this week, and then bios and finally each chapter.

After the death of Cliffjumper, the autobots were dealt quite the blow, both emotionally and in their numbers. On top of that air superiority is still in the decepticons favor which is still a big problem for the Autobots. But the day after the Autobots try to rescue Cliffjumper; only to find him as an undead terrorcon zombie, Ratchet picks up an autobot signal, but is perplexed to see that it is airborne. Most believe it's a trap, but Optimus believes that it is still worth investigating. As they try to do so the decepticons also pick up the signal. But the signal originator aids the Autobots in driving off the decepticons in his green cargo plane mode resembling a modified Antonov An-225. After the decepticons are dealt with, the jet hovers in front of the Autobots and then transforms into a bot that is nearly equal in height to Optimus himself. Once transformed Optimus immediately recognized who this bot was... his second in command, Jetfire. (A/N: Yes I am using the Transformers Cybertron Jetfire for this fanfic. And he will have his cyberkey power but it will be explained differently in the story.)
