Even though Newt has known Sander for seven years, he has barely ever exchanged a word with him, let alone acknowledged his presence, while Sander can't seem to get his mind off Newt at all.

Unintentionally, they end up in the same college, in the same on-campus dorm.

Newt remains ignorant and careless, or perhaps he's too distracted to notice. Too much in his own world.

And Newt's world isn't easy to ignore, especially not for Sander.
