Black Striker

In this fanfic, Hiccup Haddock III, once the runt of Berk, has grown into a resourceful, inventive 15-year-old who uses his unique talents to contribute to his Viking village in unexpected ways. Although he doesn't possess the brute strength of his peers, Hiccup has honed his skills as a craftsman and created a powerful crossbow, "Arrow Storm," which he uses strategically in dragon raids. While Berk hunts dragons, Hiccup is secretly fascinated by them, longing to study and understand these creatures rather than kill them. His curiosity leads him to a fateful encounter with a Night Fury he names Toothless, a dragon bound to a life of servitude by a fearsome dragon queen. Through an unlikely bond, Hiccup learns that dragons raid his village not out of malice but because they are forced to by this tyrannical ruler. As he defies his tribe's beliefs and befriends Toothless, his true loyalties are questioned, resulting in his banishment from Berk. Setting off with his dragon companion, Hiccup embraces a new journey, choosing to follow his heart and learn more about the world of dragons far beyond the island.
