Ophelia Eden, a century-old vampire has spent her immortal life avoiding conflicts with humans and staying clear of the Quileute-Wolves, whose fearsome reputation has been a warning for vampires. But during a chance encounter her life, or better said existence, takes a sharp turn of direction.

She finds it hard to turn away from the strong pull she feels toward the forbidden lands, the territory of the Quileute tribe.
