“Aren’t these things you should be saying to your girlfriend and not her best friend? Remember that girl we both know too well? How is Eleanor these days?” I cut him off angrily and harshly. There was a hint of irritation in my voice but I had every right you could possibly come up with to be mad at him.
“Can’t you see I'm not happy with her? Can’t you see its you I want? We don’t have to hide in the shadows forever,” he said taking slow steps closer to me. It was like he was testing a time bomb, he knew I was soon going to explode. He took my smaller hand in his bigger one, tracing the palm with his pointer. “It’ll be our little secret.”

Nina Bennets was always that girl who sat in the back of the classroom.
