No person has the nerve to step foot in the forest, a myth of an 18 ft tall creature roams around; no one has a clue what the creature does or clearly looks like. Scientists study human nature mixed with animal structures to make humans more fit in survival in this world. True is ugly, mean, and they work alone scavenging the endless dead bodies left behind by a lethal disease. They feed fresh goods into the After Market while civilians turn a blind eye, happy not to have to choose between starvation and joining the shadow dwellers in eating human livers. When a cult of medics known as the Red Faction starts destroying After Markets, True take a trade to destroy the Faction right back. Armed with their shovel and plagued by their eerie stalker, Radio Silent, they traverse a land of cannibals, overly friendly strangers, and backstabbing, to complete what might end up as their final trade.

This story is mature :) Also I have no idea how to categorize this I was at first saying horror because of the minor psychological horror aspects but now I don't know. Also the first three chapters or specifically the one chapter named 1-3 has the most gore within it until 9 (the chapter I just finished mad can confirm has no gore) there is no more gore or blood and such

And so, these objects are stranded in an unfamiliar land, one without food, one without family, one without rules. In this land of zero contact, objects begin to starve, objects begin to go insane. Maybe it is up to a brave few objects to try to take control and limit the deaths and cannibalism. However, will they use their power for good? Or will they abuse it to the point of no return? After MePhone4 mysteriously dissapeared, the remaining contestants were sent back to Hotel OJ. People picked up new interests, Fan became a famous internet blogger, Suitcase and Balloon became detectives, Test Tube continued her science experiments, ect ect... But what about Paintbrush? That *is* who this story is about, is it not? Yes yes, of course. How would we forget our beloved Paintbrush, famous across all of the seasons of II. What happened to them? Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute. And so they would. ~~~~~ ah yes, im better at writing now how did that happen? since im better at writing i thought, why not rewrite my most popular book? its not like its ahha its not like ive got 3 other things to do so yeah finger paintings reboot was born also the death orders might be a little different i will not be making a reboot of revival (unless its highly requested). -Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future.
