In the quiet town of Anson, Texas, the arrival of autumn brings a picturesque change with vibrant leaves and a crisp breeze. Yet, beneath the serene surface, a troubling mystery brews. Teenagers have started vanishing without a trace, their disappearances dismissed as harmless runaways by the townsfolk. That is, until Melissa goes missing in the dead of night. Hours before her disappearance, Melissa discovers a chilling note on her door: "I see you, Melissa Cooper. You're not safe. Soon I shall come, and we will play a game." Her frantic attempts to call for help are thwarted by a dead phone line and no cell signal. Seeking refuge at her best friend Hayley's house, Melissa's fears are dismissed as an early Halloween prank. But the next morning, when Melissa is nowhere to be found, the town is forced to confront the terrifying truth. Now, with the clock ticking, Hayley embarks on a desperate quest to uncover the dark secret behind her friend's disappearance and the ominous game someone is playing with their lives.
