Bradley shifted uncomfortably, his voice edged with uncertainty as he looked at Max. "Why do you still keep talking to me? I thought you hated me... don't you?"
Max took a step closer, a gentle smile spreading across his face.
He locked eyes with Bradley, his gaze warm and reassuring. "I never said I hated you, Bradley," he replied softly. "You just need a friend right now, and I'm here for you. I promise, I won't leave your side, no matter what happens." Max's sincerity radiated as he spoke, hoping to ease the tension between them and mend their relationship.
