Kael's face hovered inches from Prism's neck, his warm breath sending shivers down her spine. His lips almost touched her skin, but he suddenly halted, his expression darkening.The scent of male perfume wafted from the shirt.

A deep furrow creased his eyebrows, and anger flashed in his eyes, turning them icy.

"Who does this shirt belong to?" he growled, his husky voice laced with irritation.

Prism stuttered, "I-it's mine."

Kael's gaze narrowed, skepticism etched on his face.

Prism hastily added, "I mean, it used to be my cousin's."

Kael's jaw clenched, fists tightening. He grasped Prism's waist, his touch firm, and shifted her onto the bed.
