Salvatora was raised to destroy the masses to keep control of her fathers people. A weapon for him to wield. But what happens now that she has ran away, bargained with her fathers rivals for protection and entered their armed forces by enrolling in a school meant to produce the most powerful magic soldiers in the land.
With one of the highest spirit scores seen in centuries she became a dragon rider. Stuck in this school until she is old enough for graduation. She has mostly been able to avoid friends until a certain prince snuck his way into the academy. Tory doesn't want to get attached, doesn't want to be recognised, and doesn't want to be seen.
With her father still unwilling to let go of his greatest experiment. A school that kills over half of its cadets every year. A new squad of riders she must help train containing one very persistent prince. And an evil plaguing the land.
