Two continents. Separated by raging waters. Different people reside on each end yet an agreement by the founders forge a connection between both.

Sienna and her brother are sent to keep up their land's side of the agreement. However upon their arrival, they are informed that the land of Orphinea is battling a depression - not economically, but mentally. They are sent to a government division to overcome this crisis, to spark joy within the people. However, what is at the surface is almost never what it seems.

The success of their mission is held in the hands of the Royal Family of Orphinea, in which the heir of the throne refuses to cooperate.

Under the dictatorship of pressuring officials and crumbling under the expectations of herself, the same question remains in Sienna's wonders: wouldn't it be better if this were all a dream?

Unfortunately for her, there are far too many reasons to live in your dreams but many more that force you to stay awake in reality.

Every prototype technology has its risks. After an accident involving a novel robotic suit, Keres cadet Sky begins to have recurring lucid nightmares where she finds herself in a prison called Tartaros. Soon, one thing becomes clear: Tartaros is more than just a dream, and as the lines between reality and her subconscious begin to blur, Sky is forced to question her own perception of the world. Meanwhile, more and more mysterious accidents shake the city of Pharos to the core, threatening the safety and security of the last surviving humans on earth. The prototype technology, her dreams, a dubious doctor, a missing part of her medical files and a dark secret from her past all seem to be connected, but how? Form here on out, there's only one direction left to go: Down. _______________ Featured on Wattpad's UndiscoveredBooks profile on their "Need to Read" reading list Highest Rankings: #1 in Philosophy [17.01.2019] #8 in Mind [17.01.2019] #8 in Science [13.03.2019] #10 in Psychology [28.02.2019] #24 in Science-Fantasy [17.01.2019] #39 in Dreams [17.01.2019] The 10th Circle centers around questions about the human mind: what is it, what happens with it when we sleep and dream, what happens with it when we die, and what does it mean to be human and to have a mind in the first place. [CANCELLED AND MOVED] "Were you able to get out of bed this morning?" he asked, staring into the water. His voice was soothing, with the rasp of a fire. "I..." My breathing spiked. "I don't remember. I think so. I'm here now, right?" "But did you have the will?" ***I will also be posting this story on Royal Road from now on
