Aaron knew what was coming. "No, no, stop! You cannot."
But Edwina ignored him. "...adopted daughter of Everridge Hounds, reject you, Aaron Silvermaw, the Lycan Prince as my mate," shouted Edwina, tears streaming down her face.
A bright light escaped Edwina's chest and she fell to her knees clenching her chest to ease the pain. Aaron stood before her completely frozen, perplexed. He couldn't believe what Edwina just said. She was his true love. How could she reject him and why?
"Why? Why? Tell me what my fault is?" begged Aaron.
Edwina wiped her tears, stood up and simply walked away from him.
