This story is a work of fanfiction based on the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland. The world and characters of Wings of Fire belong to her and the publisher, Scholastic. I do not own these characters or the world they inhabit, but I do own my original interpretation and the plot of this story. The cover is not my art either.

Here are the tribes:
MudPack - MudWings
RainPack - RainWings
EmberPack - NightWings
IcePack - IceWings
ThunderPack - SkyWings
SandPack - SandWings
TidePack - SeaWings

Moon, the EmberPack wolf pup, is starting school. Its her first day at JadeMountain Academy, and she may look like an ordinary 4 year old pup, but she has a secret.

She can read minds.
AND see the future.

She is so nervous as her mother, SecretKeeper, tells her that this school will be good for her. She can tell, even without reading her mind, that SecretKeeper is wary about her decision, too.

She slowly pads into the huge academy caves, knowing her journey has just started....

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
