Another usual day took place in Elmore. Everything and everyone seemed to be in a great mood- that is... except for one particular blue cat. Gumball woke up with a sour mood that morning, eventually gaining the attention of both his siblings and parents.
Richard, in an attempt to make his son feel better, gave him a -WoNdEr HuG-. That's when things began to go... downhill.
After that hug was given to Gumball, his mood shifted completely, becoming one of pure joy and happiness! It looked like he was living in eternal bliss, smiling here and there, and never once stopping to think about the consequences of his time being.
Before time, things began to spiral out of control. Gumball's strange change in attitude caught the eye of many students and teachers, especially Darwin and Anais.
Not before long... things would get very nasty for everyone... all thanks to -ThE jOy ViRuS-.
This is an AU where the only character who received the wonder hug was Gumball! Darwin did not.
