They danced in silence at first, but then Aemond broke it, his voice low and thoughtful. "You fight well, Aria. I've never seen anyone quite like you."

She chuckled. "Thank you, but you gave me quite the challenge. I'll have to work harder if I'm to keep my title," she teased.

Aemond's lips curved into a rare, faint smile. "Perhaps one day, I'll beat you. Until then, I'll watch your rise with interest."

**This is just a fun fanfiction that I have decided to write as I feel everyone in the book deserves so much better, especially Aemond.**

The love story revolves around Aemond Targaryen and Aria Chan, his fangirl who loves him as she can relate to him and wants to save him and his future that turned him into a villain. A tale about how a fangirl unexpectedly got involved in her favorite novel and decide to save her beloved character.

I saw the trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 and it just broke my heart how devastated Rhaenyra look. Since I know a lot of what will happen because I read the books. I decided I wanted to write them a happy ending. 😊 This is part of the Dragon's Heir universe. The Gods realize that the Targaryens are about to kill each other, especially after Lucerys's death.
