Two Pleas and a Plot

What happens when two people wish on a falling star at the same time?

Joy comes home to find her boyfriend in bed with her best friend, well, once best friend. She throws them out and takes back the key she gave her boyfriend. She goes back to the room to cry on her bed. But when she enters, all she smells is sex. She runs out to her balcony crying and pleads with the falling star to find her a true love.

Brent goes to his girlfriend's house to finally take their relationship to the next level, but instead of proposing, he catches her and her lover naked in the gazebo. He breaks up with her, and with a devastated heart, he drives to the mountain lookout; exiting the car, he gazes over the city. The tears finally fall, and he screams at the night sky and pleads upon a falling star to send him a true love.

The stars hear their pleas and agree that they are like two peas in a pod and belong together, thus beginning their plot to bring these two together at last.
