Marietta and Pluto.
In every past life, they have found eachother, and their story has ended disastrously. This time, Marietta doesn't want things to end so terribly, so she cuts off Pluto for the chance of a normal life. So she might get past twenty, so she might be able to fall in love with others. Pluto, with no idea why she cut him off, tries to win her back over, and as the story goes on, realizes why through his past memories.
