The main story takes place back in New Orleans where the siblings are reunited and are given grim look into their families uncertain future. Thanks to a close betrayal Elijah ends up on a completely new journey as he makes close friends with a pack of wolves, who have been trapped underground and experimented on by witches of the Blood Order in attempt to make hybrids of their own. He befriends the Peterson siblings who are original demons and Freya's childhood enemies. His new allegiances putting a strain on his relationship with his family. As he is forced to pick between his old family and his forever growing new family. All whilst, embracing physical changes and new challenges as he adopts the role of 'father' for two young children. Causing his loyalties to be tested and his life taking a drastic turn as a result. Warning: Covers Mature Themes.
